Walkthrough

Walk onboard this fantastic 2012 model Eastbay 46 SX, DEFIANCE, onto the spacious cockpit. She features built-in seating aft and a wet bar forward equipped with an icemaker, sink, ice box and storage. The engine room is located through a large hatch in the cockpit.

Enter the salon through the single hinge two-panel glass door into the open and bright main deck of this 46 SX featuring a gorgeous satin teak interior with teak and holly sole throughout. There is a straight settee to starboard and a U-shaped settee to port with Hi-Lo electric teak table. This converts into a berth by lowering the table and inserting a separate cushion. What a great feature when more space is needed for guests!

The helm station is to starboard forward and features a STIDD helmseat with footrest, large traditional teak and stainless steering wheel, all new Garmin Electronics Package (see Electronics & Entertainment section below for a full overview), engine and joystick control & much more.

Across from the lower helm station to the port side is the companion helmseat with grab rail, cup holders and chart locker with fold-out table. 

There are two manual opening windows in the salon; forward port & starboard. The forward left windshield opens electrically as well as the aft port window. There is a sunroof that also opens by the push of a button for maximum airflow on this main deck! Salon windows and sunroof are equipped with accordion shades for privacy and to protect the interior wood from the sun.

Just before you take the steps down below there is a hatch in the salon sole which opens up into a large storage area. There is a freezer unit and plentiful space for extra storage or washer dryer.

Go below to the galley and accommodations via 4 steps down. To port is a wonderful U-shaped galley with plentiful storage cabinets and drawers, 3-burner cooktop, microwave/convection oven, two-sided stainless steel sink, large refrigerator and deep chest freezer. 

To starboard across the companionway from the galley is the guest stateroom featuring side-by-side twin berths. The en suite head is forward and features a wet head style shower with a wraparound curtain. There is also access from the companionway to be used as a day head.

The master stateroom sits comfortably forward with an easily accessible queen berth, private en suite head and separate stall shower, storage drawers under berth, cabinets and hanging lockers, full length mirror, overhead hatch and port holes for natural light and more! This stateroom is very comfortable for extended cruises!
