The SX features a salon that is fully enclosed from the cockpit by glass windows and a locking door. The HX opens that helm deck to the cockpit and outdoors beyond, with no glass, doors, or other superstructure between the hardtop and the aft salon bulkhead. Also in the HX, the teak decking extends fully from the cockpit into the helm deck, and a sliding hatch encloses the lower deck at the companionway entrance.
