Brian Dekkinga is a lifelong Boating Industry Professional with a passion for Grand Banks Yachts that goes back to his first new Grand Banks sale in 1987.
Brian is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker, US Coast Guard licensed captain, and self described boat fanatic since beginning his career in boating - sanding bottoms and shining hull sides at the age of 15. Since then, he's served in various sales and management capacities with many of the largest names in the industry, both in the Great Lakes and in Florida. As a member of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association, Brian has been active on legislative committees working on sales tax issues both North and South, and has a good handle on the needs of boaters from the Great Lakes to Florida.
He now lives with his wife and two daughters back "home" in Michigan, and enjoys spending time on the water and the ski slopes with family and friends. Brian is thrilled to now be representing Grand Banks and Palm Beach Yachts, and working on developing their new, cruising yacht focused brokerage department.

Dave Northrop joined Grand Banks in August of 2014 at the time Palm Beach was acquired by Grand Banks. Dave had worked closely with Mark Richards in bringing recognition and success to the Palm Beach brand in America. Mr. Northrop is well known in the American Marine Industry with over 30 years of senior leadership experience in growing some of the most prestigious US and International yacht builders, and operating a very successful marina and retail dealership.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University, and a Masters in Public Administration from Kent State University. Mr. Northrop had a notable career with the US Government before making his avocation his occupation, and has enjoyed sharing his passion for boats.
Steve has been in the marine industry for the past 39 years; early years were spent racing small sailboats, working in the boat dealership, selling sailboat hardware and doing rigging work. Those younger years were the foundation of his career.
Throughout his career, he has developed an extensive and in-depth knowledge of many other boat lines such as Tiara, Sabre Yachts, ApreaMare, Fleming, Princess, Hinckley, Marlow, Offshore Yachts, Ocean Alexander, Outer Reef and Hatteras, to name but a few.
With his clients specific needs in mind, he has semi-custom built over 70 new Grand Banks Yachts and sold more than 200 pre-owned Grand Banks Yachts. Having visited both of the GB factories numerous times since 1995. he has developed a very close working relationships with all of the key people at Grand Banks Yachts. This allows Steve to have a clear understanding of every part of the process; from design to delivery.

Carvey joined Grand Banks in August 2014, through the acquisition of Palm Beach Motor Yachts. He has been a key member of the Palm Beach Sales Team in the Americas and his passion for the boats and caring for his clients has earned him the respect of Palm Beach owners. He brings with him a level of knowledge that comes with his experience of 28 years in the industry. Familiar with every aspect of the marine industry; he began his work in selling boats in his hometown of Syracuse, NY, then moving to the manufacturing side with Brunswick Corporation .
After four years working for Brunswick, as both a regional and national sales manager, he relocated to the Great Lakes region. During that time he ran a multi-location dealership, selling and servicing premium brand yachts.
Now residing in the yachting headquarters of Fort Lauderdale, Carvey operates from the Grand Banks company sales office located in Ft. Lauderdale. Customer satisfaction has been his priority since the onset of his career; he understands customer needs and has the follow thru to ensure everyone is satisfied. With an extensive knowledge of new Palm Beach Motor Yachts, Grand Banks and brokerage boats, Carvey is a key member of our team.
Julee Jackson has called Florida home for over 20 years, but was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Specifically, a little community near Mount Hood called Boring, Oregon. Yes, that's a real place.
In 1996 she transitioned to yacht sales, always with authorized Grand Banks dealers. Julee's dream job became a reality when she joined Grand Banks Yachts Sales Team in May, 2015. Julee has traveled up and down the East Coast, Gulf States and abroad selling and listing Grand Banks and other cruising yachts of all sizes.
She can discuss boats as a fellow shopper and user, not just another salesperson. Over the years, she has built long-standing relationships with many clients, and that is a testament to her promise to listen and devote the necessary individualized time and attention it takes to find exactly what what each client is looking for.
