Grand Banks Owners Prepare for Cruise of a Lifetime
Simrad and Zodiac of North America show support as top sponsors

SEATTLE – March 29, 2006 –
"Grand Tour 2006: Inside Passage" is a remarkable three-week cruising event organized by Grand Banks Yachts as part of the company's 50-year anniversary celebration. GB Owners from across the country and around the world will meet at the Canadian Gulf Islands in mid-May to begin their journey together up the celebrated Inside Passage to Alaska. More than fifteen boats will participate, including both new yachts and rare models from Grand Banks storied past.
The event has received enthusiastic support from marine industry leaders, including Simrad and Zodiac of North America. The two companies are among the top sponsors of the Grand Tour, bringing their support to make the event an even more unique and exciting voyage for participating owners.
The Grand Tour itinerary is filled with scenic destinations, interesting excursions, group events and one-of-a-kind opportunities to enjoy and explore the storied cruising grounds of the Inside Passage. Leaving May 15 from the luxurious Poets Cove resort on BC's Pender Island, the fleet will tuck into beautiful ports and anchorages along British Columbia before crossing into Alaska. There, owners will make the journey up to the tip of Wrangell Island, cruising through dramatic seascapes unlike any other in the world before arriving in early June.
