Grand Banks Appoints New Sales Manager in Australia
Peter Brown brings years of industry experience and success to key position at Grand Banks.

Seattle, WA – December 15, 2005 – - Grand Banks Yachts Ltd announced today the hiring of Peter Brown as the company's new Regional Sales Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Mr. Brown brings considerable expertise to the position, with a proven record of success in the industry as well as twenty years experience at the helm of various Grand Banks models.
Mr. Brown comments "Our family has owned three Grand Banks now, and each has explored Australia's East Coast effortlessly. Early in his career, Mr. Brown played a key role in developing a powerful dealer network for Telwater Pty Ltd. After the company acquired Stacer in 1999, he was instrumental in recruiting dealers and developing their marketing strategies which helped grow sales by over four hundred percent, making it the number two aluminum boat brand in Australia.
In 2004, Mr. Brown left Telwater to accept a new challenge with Honda Marine, where he managed their dealer network throughout Queensland. He was responsible for evaluating and appointing new dealers to the territory, and consulted with dealers on all aspects of their operations to ensure sales performance. During his time at Honda he made valuable contributions to improve their market share and enhance the image of Honda Marine in the market place.

Mr. Brown is based at Grand Banks' offices on the Gold Coast, Queensland. His work as Regional Sales Manager extends far across the territory, however, including dealership opportunities in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and New Zealand.
