Over the course of our 50-year history, Grand Banks Yachts has regularly been recognized for excellence and achievement in a variety of areas, from design and manufacturing to sales and service. Below are some of the more recent highlights:
2010 MotorBoating Award, Best of the Year
Nominee: 41 Heritage EU
Grand Banks Yachts 41 Heritage EU was awarded "Best of the Year" by MotorBoating Magazine. The annual award is determined every February by the magazine, and this is the first time Grand Banks has received it.

2009 Christofle Award, Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder
Category: Motor yachts, 51-85 feet
Grand Banks Yachts was voted Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder for the second consecutive year at the fifth edition of the Christofle Asia Boating Awards.
The Christofle Asia Boating Awards show is widely known as the region's premier event, aiming to recognize the best of the maritime industry. The annual event, created by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines, was first held in 2005.
2008 Christofle Award, Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder
Category: Motor yachts, 40-70 feet
Grand Banks Yachts was voted Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder at the fourth edition of the Christofle Asia Boating Awards. The Christofle Asia Boating Awards show is widely known as the region's premier event, aiming to recognize the best of the maritime industry. The annual event, created by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines, was first held in 2005.
2008 Neptune Award for Best Marketing Campaign

The MMA introduced their new "Neptune Awards" for marketing communications campaigns judged "Best in Class" by expert panels of marine industry marketing professionals. The mission of this new awards program is to recognize and promote excellence in marine marketing communications.

2007 NMMA Marine Industry CSI Award
Category: Inboard Express Cruiser Boats
The Marine Industry CSI Awards program honors participating companies who are actively measuring customer satisfaction to pursue continuous improvement. To qualify, Grand Banks Yachts achieved and maintained an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year, based on information provided by consumers purchasing a new boat between April 2006 and March 2007.

2006 Export Excellence Award
Grand Banks Malaysia, by the Ministry of International Trade & Industry in Malaysia
The Industry Excellence Award is an annual award to recognize manufacturers and exporters in Malaysia for their business excellence and quality achievement. The Grand Banks factory at Pasir Gudang, Malaysia was recognized for long-term excellence in export sales and its ongoing contributions to Malaysia's export economy.

2007 Employer Award
Grand Banks Malaysia, by the Ministry of Human Resources in Malaysia
The Employer Award is an annual award to recognize companies in Malaysia for best practices in employee relations and other human resources polices. Grand Banks' Malaysian factory at Pasir Gudang - home to the company's training center - was specifically recognized for its commitment to "train employees to the highest standards of performance."

2007 "Best of the Year" Award
Best Cruising Event: Grand Tour, by Motor Boating/Time4 Media
This annual award recognizes the industry's "best" - best boats, safety gear, propulsion systems, etc. In 2007, Grand Banks was recognized for it's Grand Tour: Inside Passage cruise. From the publishers: "A masterpiece of planning, coordination and execution, the Grand Banks 50th Anniversary Grand Tour-an 800-mile, 19-day run up the Inside Passage to Alaska-was indeed the cruise of a lifetime."

2007 European Powerboat of the Year
Nominee: 47 Heritage EU
The European Powerboat Award is an initiative of the leading European motorboat magazines: Barche a Motore (Italy), Boote (Germany), Neptune (France), Swissboat (Switzerland) and Yachtsrevue (Austria). Grand Banks Yachts was honored with the nomination of the 47 Heritage EU, which ranks the boat among the top five in her size category,

2006 "Best of the Year" Award
Boating Magazine
Grand Banks won this award for its distinctive process of using clear gel coat below the waterline during hull lamination. From the magazine: "From the waterline to keel, this boat isn't hiding anything. If there's resin starvation, bubbles, or bad laminates, the builders and you will see it. Cover the area with bottom paint, and if you hit something while underway, just scrape away the paint to see what damage has been done to the structure."

The North American Marine Industry Web Awards were launched to recognize the industry's drive towards higher standards of excellence in website design and content. Websites considered for the North American Web Awards were evaluated by a panel of judges with expertise in web creation and design.
